Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley on Thursday signed into law one of the United States’ toughest gun control measures, even as opponents vowed to overturn it.

The legislation prompted by the Newtown, Connecticut, school massacre requires handgun buyers to undergo safety training and submit fingerprints to obtain a license.

It also bans the sale of 45 types of assault weapons, which have been linked to at least 461 U.S. deaths since 2004, according to the governor’s office.

Opponents of the changes say they aren’t planning to seek any sort of public vote/referendum on the bill, but will instead offer support to an NRA lawsuit which challenges the legality of the new regulations. Similar legislation has been passed in Colorado, New York, and Connecticut following a recent uptick in mass shooting incidents.

A COOL THING HAPPENED ONCE

Motherfuckin sweet potato and kale mac n cheeze

Ingredients

One large sweet potato, peeled, cubed and steamed
One cup pasta elbows
Two cups almond milk
One tbsp maple syrup
One cup imitation cheese shreds (I like cheddar)
As much kale as you fucking feel like because kale is delicious
Pinch of pepper and salt

Preheat oven to 400°

Steam sweet potato until tender. Cook pasta, drain and set aside. Puree the sweet potato and almond milk in a pan over medium heat until smooth, then add in the syrup, cheese, kale and spices. Pour the mixture over noodles, then place the coated noodles on a baking tray and cook for half an hour.

THIS IS SO ADORABLE. They’re so innocent and happy- none of the bullshit overacting, stupid makeup or misogynistic crap that makes most porn bland and uninteresting and overdone.

The violence of pornographic sex is removed and the power structure is depicted in an entirely new and different way where the woman is essentially being forced into coming, but not as an afterthought or an obligation.

Plus they just seem so damn happy, it’s the cutest thing.

I had a dream I was walking down Avenue C and saw a man fall out of the sky and crumple on the sidewalk. I tried to call an ambulance but couldn’t describe my location so I just watched him bleed out and walked away before too much of a crowd gathered.
